    Indicia title is "WASH TUBBS, No. 28." Several untitled Captain Easy, Soldier of Fortune stories, scripts and art by Roy Crane. Wash has followed Carol McKee and her father to Panazuela; He brought Captain Easy, who was suffering from amnesia from a blow on the head; They are thrown into prison when a revolution starts. Bull Dawson steals the country's $6 million in gold, but the boat gets hung up on a sandbar. Easy gets control of the boat from Dawson and dumps the gold overboard in order to get away; The group is picked up by a ship and return to the United States. Rowden Splendix plants a fake story about Wash's father returning from Africa, then hires a bum to play the part. With Wash's bum of a father fouling up his relationship with the McKees, Rowden Splendix and his father up the ante by having him take a woman "customer" out on the town. Easy finds Wash on his "date" with I.R. Splendix's hired girl, Fifi, and substitutes himself at the pair's table. Easy goes to the police and fingers Bolito Coker as the one who killed I.R. Splendix. Wash, still on the run with his bum "father," hides out on a houseboat; They end up at the farm of the bum's long-deserted wife and son. Too Many Pets, script by Carl Barks and Merrill de Maris (plot), art by Carl Barks; An organ grinder gives the nephews a monkey named Jingo, who plays hob with Donald's house until Donald sells him to a stranger.
