The comic-book version of the 1955 TV series featuring legendary serial actor Buster Crabbe and his son, Cullen. Young Cuffy and Captain Gallant have adventures in the desert with the French Foreign Legion. This variant issue, sponsored by the Heinz food company, features a Heinz "57 Varieties" ad on the inside back cover, and a Junior Legionnaires Membership Certificate bearing the Heinz logo on the back cover. Fuzzy enters his beloved camel Josephine in a camel race, but his competitors want to sabotage her chances. Gallant and company set out to rescue a kidnapped American woman.
