Written by George W. Gunn. The adventures of Rufus Rastus Brown, told in several verses, each one featuring either a color illustration or B&W photo (not an early era comic book format). NOTE: This publication contains elements some would see as negative racial and cultural depictions. Despite being unacceptable by today's prevailing standards, the humor presented was common to the era in which it was published. FC, 11.25 x 9.5 in. 16pgs including covers.

Buster Brown Red Cross Drawing Book (1906) is a Platinum Age comic book published by C.A. Cross & Co. This neat little book provides wonderfully drawn cartoons and tracing pages for someone to practice their drawing. Most of the time the tissue tracing paper was torn out of these books by the children who drew in them, so to have all sheets intact (traced on or not) is very rare. This Red Cross Coffee Promotional Book (not to be confused with the Red Cross health organization) has 12 pages including cover (plus 8 tissue-tracing pages), B&W, cardstock cover, 3.5-in. x 4.75-in.
