Four nearly full page illustrations in color, six spot illustrations printed with blue ink. Text also printed using blue ink. This is known as the "Pan" edition due to the cover illustration showing Sambo looking into a pan at his reflection. Saddle-stitched, 7 1/2-in. x 9-in., 8 pages, full color and blue and white.

Mickey is distraught at first, but eventually turns the tables on Slicker.
