Cover by Charles Schulz. Stories and art by Charles Schulz, Henning Mikkelsen, Leonard Sansone, and John Hix. Sometimes listed as Peanuts: Comics on Parade #1. The very first full-length comic book reprinting Charles Schulz's Peanuts, then only in its fifth year; numerous daily strips are presented in full color. (In some strips, the comic-book colorist gave Charlie Brown "hair.") The shape of Charlie Brown's head plays against him in hide and seek. This rare issue was actually published by United Features Syndicate during their brief period as a comic-book publisher; Dell published the subsequent issues.
