Semi-prozine published and edited from New York by Andrew Porter, Science Fiction Chronicle was founded in 1978 as a department of Porter's more elaborate magazine Algol, and became a separate publication in October 1979. Each issue offered news of SF authors, publishers, awards, and other industry related items. 8.5" x 11". 16 pages. B&W. Cover price $1.25.

Vol. 1 No. 7 - March 1980. Centerfold on white heavy-stock newsprint reprints 4 installments of Disney's "The Black Hole" comic strip in full color. Drawn by Jack Kirby with inks by Mike Royer, this 26 installment adaptation ran in the Sunday comics section of newspapers as part of the Walt Disney's Treasury of Classic Tales long-running anthology strip.
