Stories and art by Marv Lev and Jourdain. An anthology of humor and action comics from little-known publisher Able. Perhaps the highlight of the issue is a rare adventure starring World War II feminist and cultural icon Rosie the Riveter, as she applies for a wartime job. Sad Sack-like Army Private Rufe McGoof joins forces with British soldiers in the North Africa campaign. After Nazis kill her family, Tanya joins Russian guerrilla fighters to fight the German forces and becomes the Young Avenger. Because this comic was published with a newsprint cover, copies in VF to NM are extremely rare. Shock Gibson; The Adventures of the Handy Dwarf; Rufe McGoof: Desert Dynamite; Rosie the Riveter; Flossie; Sam Hill; The Young Avenger Strikes; Roddy. Final issue of the series. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
