Veronica videotapes her father and Smithers trying out the girls' workout tape, so Mr. Lodge recruits Archie and Jughead to get the tape back before anyone else sees it. Veronica gets annoyed when the others start spouting superstitious rhymes about finding money and receiving good fortune. Veronica suggests that Betty coach the Riverdale Pee Wee baseball team so that she won't have time for Archie, but Betty gets Archie and Jughead to help out as umpires. When Mr. Weatherbee suggests that Betty and Veronica make the school newspaper more interesting they start writing sensational headlines, which he likes until one makes him look silly.
