The girls get some hi-tech help from Dilton when Archie and Reggie become obsessed with a new Virtual Reality arcade game. Betty and Veronica are set to attend a '70s themed dance, in full era costume, but find themselves enduring one delay after another waiting for Archie and Reggie to pick them up. In return for all the nice things Betty does for her, Veronica decides to give her a date with Archie, free and clear of any Veronica interference. Betty comes down in old, worn clothing as part of her new "grunge" look. Editor Gorelick promotes the limited edition comic "Archie & Friends Versus The Household Toxic Wastes" that he plans to give away at the 1993 San Diego Comic Convention. 36 pages, full color. $1.25.
