Famous "Cannon Fodder" cover by Ernest Schroeder Renders new meaning to the term "shell-shocked!"

Cover by Ernest Schroeder. Stories and art by Lorence Bjorklund, Gerald McCann and Ernest Schroeder. One of the more fanciful and influential of 1940s aviator heroes, Airboy fights evil with his radio-controlled plane "Birdie" and its plethora of experimental flying tech. Sometimes listed as Airboy Comics #111. No issue # on cover; Vol. 10, issue #4 in indicia. The final appearances of Airboy and The Heap, until the characters were acquired by Eclipse Publishing in the 1980s. Airboy; The Heap; Lobster Alley; Vitamin Vic; The Tombstone Click; Maloo and the Kicker; Chains of Khydoo. Final issue of the series. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
