Charlton's long-running series focused on the military exploits of the US Marines throughout the 20th century. During WWII, Lt. Ordwell is shot down over enemy territory. Shotgun and Chicken are dropped behind enemy lines to stop a Viet Cong retreat. But Chicken has adopted a pacifist stance, much to Shotgun's annoyance, in a story with art by artist and combat veteran Sam Glanzman.
