Primitive warrior Kona tries to protect the Dodd family from the dinosaurs and gigantic creatures that populate Monster Isle. Dr. Dodd gets the Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons to lay down their weapons and stop fighting, but there's still the dinosaurs to contend with. Soon Dodd realizes what has caused the plants and animals of the island to grow to unnatural sizes. Then the family becomes caught up in the ongoing war between the pterodactyls and glyptodonts.
