Cover by Matt Baker. Stories and art by Matt Baker and Gene Colan. Charlton's long-running series focused on the miliary exploits of the US Marines throughout the 20th century. The lure of these early issues is the military-comedy series featuring redheaded military mascot Canteen Kate. Kate causes comic chaos when she auditions for an upcoming stage performance for the troops, in a story with art by good-girl art legend Matt Baker. In Korea, Leatherneck Jack is trapped in the target area of the Marine Corps' own rocket attack, in a story with early art by future Marvel legend Gene Colan. Meanwhile, his buddies Monte and Gum travel toward a hidden enemy outpost at Junkyard Junction. Plus two more Colan stories. Cover by Baker. Frontline Private; Leatherneck Jack: Blitz at Junkyard Junction; Canteen Kate: Call to Arms; Front Line Snafu; Disguised for Death!; Enemy Breakthrough. 36 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.

Script by CHRIS WARNER. Art by TONY AKINS & PAUL GUINAN. Cover painting by ROBERT MENTOR. Lt. Henry and his crew of ne'er-do-wells are - to put it simply - in the soup. Stranded in a space station with a pack of bloodthirsty Aliens waiting behind every access hatch, this platoon of Colonial Marines will leave no shell unfired in their struggle to survive. And as the pulse-fire echoes through the corridors, a hideous plan of mutating humans into Aliens is uncovered, leading Lt. Henry to wonder if this is more than just a random infestation. Cover price $2.50.

Mart Bailey art. 3 pages of Ogden Whitney art. Beginning with a cover showing a tentacled Tojo getting fried by a U.S. Marine's flame thrower, this undated World War II era comic is chock-full of the U.S. anti-Japanese sentiment of that era. A bit larger than the typical comic book at 7-1/2 x 10-3/4 inches; content is a mix of color comic book war stories and black-and-white text and photo articles covering the Marines in action. Cover price $0.10.
