Tarzan of the Apes. The legend of the jungle hero raised by apes is retold. Despite the timing and the cover blurb, this is not based on the 1984 film Greystoke, but is a straight adaptation of the original Edgar Rice Burroughs novel. Written by Sharman DiVono and Mark Evanier, with art by Dan Spiegle. Story later reprinted in Marvels Tarzan of the Apes (1984) #1-2. Painted cover by Charles Ren. Full color; 68 pages. Cover price $2.00.
