Meet Clay Washburn, who in the 1930s and 1940s, tries to make a living by cranking out fiction for the popular "pulp" magazines of the day and struggles with whatever life puts in his path. In addition to Clay's world, in each issue, you also often see the adventures of the fictional characters that he is working on. In this issue, "A Dash of Chaos – A Pinch of Order," Clay struggles with ethical doubts about his writing and his girl friend's snobbishness as he works on the adventures of Brass-Knuckles Bendix. Script by Dave Darrigo and art by Les Taylor. Issue also has a multi-page text feature and art on the old pulp magazines. Cover price $1.70.
