This first issue introduces horror host "Morris, the Caretaker of Weird." Then it leads off with one of Eerie's few original stories, a retelling of the Frankenstein saga told from the point of view of the Monster. A scientist is examining a set of mummy's eyes from Cairo when the eyes' owner returns to claim them. The Trumpet that will signal the Apocalypse falls into the hands of homeless Gabriel, who's only too ready to use it.
