"Nightmares and Memories" Script by Roger Stern. Pencils by Mark Bagley. Inks by Greg Adams. Cover by Mark Bagley and Greg Adams. Wonder Man is back in Los Angeles and ready to set things right with the friends he left behind (after his apparent death in Force Works (1994) #1). Appropriately, his first stop is the residence of Alex Flores, Simon's one-time fiancé. After a pleasant conversation with Alex, Wonder Man along with the Beast heads to the downtown courthouse to speak to the district attorney. Then the duo visits the cemetery where the Avengers left a beautiful memorial to their fallen teammate. [See Tales of the Marvels Wonder Years #2.] However Wonder Man's return to L.A. has not gone unnoticed by several of his old adversaries! Most notably, Lady Lotus! And when Simon and Hank attend a high-society gala the following evening, the bills from the other side of the ledger come due! Cameo appearances by Neal Saroyan, Cindy Knutz, Armed Response, Diane Cummings, Bob O'Bryan, and It, the Living Colossus. 32 pages. Cover price $2.99.
