Jerry (The Adventures of Superman, Power of Shazam, Avengers) Ordway and colorist Nick ( Deperadoes) Bell use their considerable talents to tell the tale of a man haunted by his past and his gift to "see" into the mind of anyone he touches. This man, The Messenger, uses this power to determine the absolute guilt of accused murderers and other criminals, delivering justice unencumbered by the legal system. But what happens when he discovers that his "gift" wasn't infallible-- that he has the blood of innocents on his hands? An ex secret agent, one step ahead of his past, being drawn deeper and deeper into a dark conspiracy. This story is complete and self-contained, but the seeds are sown within for Ordway's next creator owned project from Image called "Proton." THE MESSENGER is a full color 48 page one-shot. FC, 48pg Cover price $5.95.
