Looters; The Terror hunts down a gang of looters who have decided to hit only small businesses that are less likely to have the sort of security and defenses that banks have. The Dweller in the Haunted Cave; Young orphan Davey Drew inadvertently frees the Demon, embodiment of mankind's evil, from his prison in a cave. The Grinner, art by Al Gabriele; Dr. Weems drinks a concoction that he thinks might be a cure for pneumonia, but it instead transforms him into a Mr. Hyde-like monster. Museum Robberies; Mark Todd (in this story said to be a district attorney) hears of mysterious thefts at an art museum that happen without anyone breaking in to the building. Hitler Meets the Destroyer, script by Stan Lee; The Destroyer takes a job as a waiter at a large hotel in Berlin in order to taunt the Nazis staying there. The Gems of Doom, script by Stan Lee (as S.T. Anley); The Witness sees a jewelry store robbery and traces it back to the Imp, a criminal masquerading as a law-abiding pawn shop owner. Death Drews; The Terror discovers that ships supposedly taking refugees from Europe to America are actually abducting them to Africa to build railroads for the Nazis as slave labor. The Thing, art by Syd Shores; A hideous man named Dr. Fear is literally scaring citizens to death with his appearance and then robbing them. Poison, Incorporated, art by Don Rico; A criminal known as "The Old One" creates Poison, Inc., and commits murders for hire using poisons. Mortal Combat, art by Howard James; Davey is saved from being dropped into a boiling cauldron by the sudden appearance of the Prince of Good, arch enemy of the Demon. Longnails; A young ex-con tries to go straight, but a former criminal associate frames him for murder so the Black Marvel much catch the real murderer and clear the young man's name. Throwback, art by Don Rico; Noted criminologist Gary Gaunt accidentally drinks an experimental mixture he'd made to turn rabbits into fighting animals after he receives a blow to the head. The Mystery of Red Valley; Mark Todd visits an old friend of his father's, but finds him denying they know each other and acting oddly. Horror Mansion, script by Stan Lee, pencils by Mike Sekowsky; The Challenger stops an insurance scam where those who bought large insurance policies were lured to a castle and scared to death with ghastly apparitions in order to appear to have died of natural causes.
