Fawcett's annual comics omnibus, published to coincide with the Christmas holidays, includes almost 200 pages of comics. Although often described as a collection of unsold, returned comics, the original issues were actually overprinted deliberately for inclusion in Xmas Comics. This issue includes Captain Marvel Adventures #110, Whiz Comics #125, Master Comics #115, and The Marvel Family #50. Believed to be the first series to feature enhanced covers. This issue features a green felt enhancement to the Christmas tree. The original Captain Marvel discovers what Sivana hoped he would never find: Sivana's collection of benevolent and life-improving inventions. Lance O'Casey must guide his ship, the Starfish, past the reefs while it's filled with barrels of nitroglycerine.
