"The Menace of White Face!", art by Bob Brown; While riding across a rope bridge, Randy falls off his horse and almost goes over the edge, but the Rawhide Kid quickly rescues the boy with his lasso. "Wrong Man" text story. "The Death of Wyatt Earp!", art by Bob Forgione; Sheriff Wyatt Earp had cleaned out the town of Abilene, however while on a two week vacation outlaw Moose Morrill and his gang sought to take it over by first eliminating him. "The Sioux Attack!", art by Bob Brown; The Rawhide Kid and Randy come across a man who has been killed by Sioux Native American warriors, Rawhide tells his young ward to stand back since the Sioux must have left the dead man out as a trap, and sure enough his hunch proves right when they are attacked by a band of Sioux warriors. 36 pgs., full color. "Hangman's Justice!", art by Bob Brown; The Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are riding along the range when they witness a man being kidnapped; The Kid and Clayton are shot at when they rush to the man's rescue and although they kill one of the kidnappers the other escape with their victim. "Six-Gun Scholar!", art by Bob Brown; While riding across the range, the Rawhide Kid is shocked when a pair of men rope up Randy off his horse with a lasso; The Kid shoots the rope free and learn that they are truant officers who then try to use strong arm tactics to find out why Randy isn't in school. "Trouble on the Trail" text story. "The Last Victim of Husk Grant!", art by Harry Anderson. "Ambush Gang!", art by Bob Brown; On his way home from school, Randy is ambushed by a group of men who then take him prisoner for their boss; When the Rawhide Kid learns that Randy went missing after class, the Kid searches for the boy, learning he was bushwhacked but cannot find the trail; At the local saloon shortly thereafter, the Rawhide Kid is approached by one of the gang with a note written by Randy. 36 pgs., full color. "Six-Gun Lesson!", art by Bob Brown; The Rawhide Kid is riding when he is attacked by a gang of horse rustlers who seek to steal his horse Apache; The Kid fights them off and they find him too much of a match and flee the scene; Feeling that his ward Randy Clayton might in be danger, the Rawhide Kid pays a visit to the school to learn that none of the boys had arrived in class, troubling the Kid. "The Rustlers!", art by Bob Brown; The Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are fording across a river when suddenly Randy and his horse Smokey are swept up in the currents and dragged down stream; The Kid tries to rescue Randy, but the rapids are too strong and Randy disappears. "The Search" text story. "The Easy Way!" Untitled story, art by Bob Brown; The Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton are riding along Slide Mountain in a region the Native Americans have called the Valley of 1000 Shadows where they just narrowly avoid a rock slide; The slider reveals a large vein of green gold including a Native American hammer also bound in the gold; They take it into nearby town of Del Oro to be appraised; There the Rawhide Kid tells Randy to keep the location of the find a secret. 36 pgs., full color. "The Broken Spur!", art by Bob Brown and Joe Maneely (splash page); When Juddy Hayes, a classmate of Randy Clayton, is determined to free his father from jail after he has been accused of murdering Mr. Grayson at the bank, Randy goes to warn his mentor the Rawhide Kid; The Rawhide Kid rushes into town and stops Juddy before he can set off explosives that would free his father from jail; He then rushes Juddy out of town where the boy tells the Rawhide Kid and Randy what happened the day his father was arrested: That his father went into the bank to see Mr. Grayson alone, Juddy heard two gunshots and went in. "Flaming Gem!", art by Bob Brown; Randy Clayton is playing marbles with his friend using a corker that a pair of outlaws named Slade and Kincaid recognize as fire opals; They approach Randy and as him about his corker and he tells them that he found it down by the river with a number of other similar rocks; Unaware of the value of his corker, Randy lets the men take a closer look at it; When they offer to buy it off Randy, he refuses and the men take it anyway tossing pennies at Randy and his friend; When Randy tries to fight to get his corker back, the Rawhide Kid arrives. "Brand for Trouble" text story. "The Kid's Last Ride!", art by Chuck Miller. Untitled story, art by Bob Brown and Joe Maneely (splash page); While camping out for the night the Rawhide Kid wakes up to find a cougar attempting to attack their horses; Although the Rawhide Kid manages to shoot the cougar dead, Randy's horse Smokey is too frightened to be useful anymore and the Kid has to tell his ward that Smokey needs to be put out to pasture; After dropping Smokey off at a rancher friend, the Rawhide Kid takes Randy into the town of Jackspir to find a new horse. 36 pgs., full color. "The Outcasts," art by Bob Brown; While out riding with his ward Randy Clayton, the Rawhide Kid spots campfire smoke coming from Comanche territory; Believing that the Comanches would not like trespassers on their land, the Kid and Randy go to investigate; They come across a group of men trying to steal furs trapped by the Rawhide Kid's old friend Java Joe and sends them packing; Freeing Java, the Rawhide Kid invites him to come back home with them. "King Cobra!", art by Bob Brown; While out riding, the Rawhide Kid and Randy Clayton come across a strange snake that they have never seen before; Spooking Randy's horse causing the boy to be thrown from his steed, the snake is about to strike but is shot dead by the Rawhide Kid; The Kid and Randy take the snake back to Greg Tate, a retired professor who tells them that the snake is a Hooded King Cobra the most deadliest reptile in the world. "Treasure Trail" text story. "The Man From Nowhere!", art by Jack Keller. "Desperate Hour!", art by Bob Brown; While out for a ride the Rawhide Kid and his ward Randy Clayton hear the pained cries of a mountain lion echoing through the range, the pair then split up to try and find the source of the noise; Randy finds the big cat first and notices that it is caught in a bear trap. 36 pgs., full color.
