A Date with Effie public service announcement; Betty is in a huff with Stan after she hears he had a date with Effie; Effie turns out to be a Radio System for broadcasting in a hospital; Public service strip to encourage volunteer workers in the Health Care System. Untitled story; The animals put on a benefit play and raise enough money to help Mrs. Wren rebuild her house. Reprints from Frisky Fables. An interesting issue in that the title character, Spunky, the Smiling Spook, does not appear anywhere in this comic. There is a Spunky story, but the title character in the story is a small kangaroo. Why the change which appears to have been done at the last minute? We'll probably never know.
