    UK edition. Identical to US edition, but has 15p cover price. "In the Beginning..." Published after Krypton Chronicles (which gave Superman's back story), Untold Legend of Batman fills in missing bits and pieces of the Caped Crusader's crime fighting career. This first issue recaps Batman's origin and finds the character puzzling over a package containing remnants of a bat costume worn by Thomas Wayne. Script by Len Wein, pencils by John Byrne, inks by Jim Aparo, cover by José Luis Garcia-Lopez.
