    Written by Kevlin Goodner. Art by Cindy Perkins Fryrear. Created by Cindy Perkins Fryrear, Super Cat is the story of University of Kentucky student Ken Purrkins who is accidentally transformed into the super-hero, Super Cat! This first issue sees the origin of Super Cat as he battles against a mysterious birdman attempting to steal the research of Professor Paul Cotton. Also features two back-up stories written by Rick Howlett with art by Chris Abrams: "Buffy's Bunch...The Cheer Cats", and "Bluegrass Buddies." This issue originally came polybagged with a University of Kentucky visor and a pack of Collegiate Collection University of Kentucky trading cards. Cover price $1.50.
