This is the continuation of Ted Nomuras Families of Altered Wars saga, begun in Tigers of Terra and continued from Luftwaffe 1946 (1996) Vol. 01 #4. In this alternate-history world, the Axis powers succeeded in extending the war into 1946, allowing artists Nomura and Dunn to create fanciful jet fighters and other aircraft as part of Hitlers Luftwaffe air force. Needing to buy time to develop their "super-weapons," the Germans create their own kamikaze corps, called the Luftsturm (air guard), and target the American long-range bombers.
