Volume 1 - 1st printing. Story and art by Mina Hwang. In a city somewhere on Earth, Philar is an ordinary high school student who usually visits the local game arcade after finishing his studies. One day, however, while at the arcade, hooligans decide to cause trouble that inadvertently involves Philar. To everyone's surprise he fights back. As the rumors spread about Philar, they come to the attention of Lunarena: an assassin sent by Azlar, Prince to Aguilas, to kill the legendary "Sun", who he believes may have escaped to Earth. Volume 2 - 1st printing. Story and art by Mina Hwang. Following his encounter, Philar heads back to school. But when he arrives, his teacher punishes him for the previous day's "trouble" by having him run 10 laps. As he finishes the last lap, hardly out of breath, he starts to wonder what really has happened to him. He has changed both physically and mentally. Kitara, daughter of a shaman, uses her psychic abilities to warn Philar via telepathy. But this display of power provokes Lunarena into attacking Kitara; preventing further awakening of Philar's memories. But Sadad has something to say about that. Meanwhile, Philar discovers the full use of his powers and doesn't hesitate to kick some android butt! Overwhelmed with the changes occurring and the flood of memories, he's plagued by nightmares of becoming a "freak" or scientific oddity. Even worse, he ponders if he won't make it. Volume 3 - 1st printing. Story and art by Mina Hwang. Philar asks Kitra to help him locate Lunarena, but her jealousy overshadows her duty and lies to him. As they're talking, androids disguised as Philar's family begin to attack. After a daring escape, he's left helpless and injured... only by the miraculous appearance of Lunarena he can make good his escape! However, the androids follow and Lunarena must fight. She successfully leads them away in order to give Philar time to recover. Meanwhile, he regains consciousness and staggers away -- returning to the city to find his parents. However, he has yet to encounter Jarexx. With Lunarena missing and his enemies still hot on his tail, Philar's too preoccupied to avoid the next attack that literally buries him!
