Written by Ursula Vernon. Art and cover by Patrick Rothfuss.
Digger Unearthed is the story of a shrewd, sensible wombat engineer named Digger-of-unnecessarily-convoluted-tunnels, who finds herself stranded in a fantasy world that is far from logical. Thrust into the middle of a puzzling and often perilous situation involving gods, demons, destiny, and redemption, she finds her way based on a pragmatic honesty and the sincere belief in doing the right thing.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Digger Unearthed offers the complete webcomic collection in a single volume that can be fully enjoyed by young adult readers, yet also contains layers of sophistication that become deeper and more meaningful with age and experience.

From Warren Ellis, the award-winning author, comics creator and popular columnist (and who is currently writing the screenplay for the film adaptation of the comics series GRAVEL, also published by Avatar Press), comes a collection of the most mind-bending columns you've ever read: DO ANYTHING. DO ANYTHING VOLUME ONE: JACK KIRBY RIPPED MY FLESH collects the first 26 chapters of Ellis' text masterpiece and is a grand tour through comics & culture as seen through a burgled robot head. The robot head of Jack Kirby lives on Warren Ellis' desk. It knows everything and is connected to everything. You must obey the robot head of Jack Kirby. There are many ways to look at comics. In this book, we see the medium through the hazy android eyes of Jack Kirby (actually the stolen and repurposed head of the missing Philip K Dick robot, which Mr. Ellis confesses to swiping off the back of a plane), taking a rattling ghost-train ride through the history of comics. David Bowie, the CIA, mad architects, Will Eisner, Frank Zappa, Tintin, the designer of Skylab, a train station in Paris, Arthur C. Clarke, the circus, the Black Panther Party and William S. Burroughs: all of these things are connected by Jack Kirby, all part of the secret history of comics, and all illustrating the special nature of the medium as the place where you can do anything. The continuing DO ANYTHING column, from which this book is derived, can be found every Tuesday at http://www.bleedingcool.com. Cover price $5.99.

1st printing. Story and art by Dakota McFadzean. This volume collects three years of Dakota McFadzean's daily webcomic, nominated for the Slate Cartoonist Prize and a Shuster Award. Though it began as a diary comic, the strip gradually morphed into its current state: a gnashing, howling little world of cursing children, mutilated faces, worried monsters, and adorable small animals. These figures amble between absurd comedy and that dark, empty feeling of cosmic insignificance that keeps you up at night. Harcover, 6-in. x 8 1/2-in., 368 pages, full color. Story and art by Jason Adam Katzenstein.
A New Yorker cartoonist brings to life his struggle with OCD through his arresting drawings and inimitable comedic voice, illuminating his daily battle to feel comfortable in the world - and ultimately make room for a life without limitations.
For Jason Katzenstein, mundane events are a cause for alarm. In short: his brain is broken. But his brain is also creative, and so devises a coping mechanism to protect itself from the worst thoughts and feelings by performing rituals called "compulsions" that help Jason work through fears of contamination, guilt, panic, and relationships. Yes: Jason has OCD.
Everything Is an Emergency is Jason's way of showing us that OCD can be funny and, as Jason has discovered, while unmaking habits is hard, nothing worth doing is ever easy.

1st printing. By Matthew Perry. Foreword by Lisa Kudrow. Hi, my name is Matthew, although you may know me by another name. My friends call me Matty. And I should be dead. So begins the riveting story of acclaimed actor Matthew Perry, taking us along on his journey from childhood ambition to fame to addiction and recovery in the aftermath of a life-threatening health scare. Before the frequent hospital visits and stints in rehab, there was five-year-old Matthew, who traveled from Montreal to Los Angeles, shuffling between his separated parents; fourteen-year-old Matthew, who was a nationally ranked tennis star in Canada; twenty-four-year-old Matthew, who nabbed a coveted role as a lead cast member on the talked-about pilot then called Friends Like Us. . . and so much more. In an extraordinary story that only he could tell—and in the heartfelt, hilarious, and warmly familiar way only he could tell it—Matthew Perry lays bare the fractured family that raised him (and also left him to his own devices), the desire for recognition that drove him to fame, and the void inside him that could not be filled even by his greatest dreams coming true. But he also details the peace hes found in sobriety and how he feels about the ubiquity of Friends, sharing stories about his castmates and other stars he met along the way. Frank, self-aware, and with his trademark humor, Perry vividly depicts his lifelong battle with addiction and what fueled it despite seemingly having it all. Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing is an unforgettable memoir that is both intimate and eye-opening—as well as a hand extended to anyone struggling with sobriety. Unflinchingly honest, moving, and uproariously funny, this is the book fans have been waiting for. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 272 pages, Text Only. Cover price $29.99.
