    Star Blazer follows a group of space adventurers under the command of Captain Avater as they struggle against the evil alien forces known as the Gamilon. Their space vessel the Argo and its legendary Wave Motion Gun are all that stands between the human race and annihilation.

    Star Blazers opened the door for many Japanese cartoons to make their way to American televisions including Robotech, Gundam, and Pokemon.

    Volume 4 uses actual drawings from the original film to tell the tale of episodes 11-12.
