1st printing. Written by Rob Reger and Cosmic Debris. Art by Rob Reger, Buzz Parker and Cosmic Debris. In her thirteen-plus years in existence, oddballs, outcasts, and art freaks the world over have grown to know and love a strange young girl named Emily. With roots in the punk-rock art scene of Santa Cruz skate culture and an early appeal to European trend spotters, the iconic image of Emily and her philosophy of devout individualism have become deeply rooted in global culture. The Art of Emily Volume 1 is the first-ever collection of images showing the wide and inspired range of artistic styles and mediums that have been used to create the world of Emily the Strange. From silk-screened vinyl skateboard stickers to custom rock-and-roll album art, large-scale psychedelic paintings, and insanely intricate Mongolian paper cutting, the fantastic and artful imaginings of Rob Reger, Buzz Parker, and a staggeringly talented array of collaborators will give insight and inspiration to any Emily fan. The world's affection for Emily the Strange can be seen at futuristic shopping malls in Tokyo, in Dutch Halloween fanzines, on the walls of metal clubs in Germany, and throughout the United States! Hardcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 120 pages, full color. Cover price $22.95.

Published Apr 2011 by Sorcery 101.$2.50
1st printing. By Kel Mcdonald. This book contains two self-contained graphic novels set in the universe of Sorcery 101, both originally published as a webcomic. "Strange Someone" is about a young writer discovering that Jeff, the nurse she met while writing a medical romance book, not only has some odd peculiar quirks, but also seems to harbour a bigger secret. This part had a difficult history on the web as it lost the first two illustrators during its original publication. The print version has been completely remade in the style of the third and last artist - which, unfortunately for me, is the style I like less, as I find it unnecessarily goofy and cartoony. "As We Were" is a slice of life of Lope and Suzanne, the first a magical creature disguised as a human, the second a human woman in search of vengeance after her family was killed by the vampire Seth. The story follows the duo as they try to hunt Seth down, leading them eventually to Lope's homeland, and focuses on Suzanne's moral dilemma that her hunt for Seth is slowly eroding everything else in her life. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 200 pages, Full Color. Cover price $19.99.

Story and art by PAUL CHADWICK.
A troubled man seeking spiritual renewal in the wilderness experiences a wholly unexpected rebirth-as a walking monolith, half a ton of animate stone able to perform astonishing feats of strength and endurance but forever denied many of life's fundamental pleasures. As Concrete, Ronald Lithgow becomes an overnight celebrity and the focus of dark government operatives desperate to keep the secret of his metamorphosis from the public. Concrete must struggle with the loss of his humanity while discovering, perhaps for the first time, what it truly means to be human.
