1st printing. Based on the story by Mark Twain. Adapted by Seymour Chwast. Art and cover by Seymour Chwast. A Mark Twain classic gets a makeover from the illustrator NPR has called "diabolically witty" and "devilishly expressive." Seymour Chwast, an icon of the graphic design world, has delighted audiences with his adaptations of The Divine Comedy, The Canterbury Tales, and The Odyssey, but it is in Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court that he has found his match. Inspired by Twain's comic irreverence for the Knights of the Round Table, Chwast's illustrations showcase his humor at its finest. He brings us a brilliant imagining of the beloved hero, Hank Morgan, as well as the full cast of Camelot characters, from Merlin to Lancelot to the king himself. With a bold and colorful design and no shortage of witty surprises, this is Mark Twain as you've never seen him before. Hardcover, 144 pages, B&W. Cover price $22.00.

Volume 1 - 1st printing. "Hard Road Home!" Collects Dead Kings (2018 AfterShock) #1-5.
Written by Steve Orlando. Art and cover by Matthew Dow Smith.
Sasha never saw his younger brother...until the secret police made him disappear. Sasha Vasnetsov left Thrice-Nine-the dirty folklore world that limps along in the wreckage of a Technomagic War-thirty years ago and never looked back. But word that the secret police have sent his brother Gena to a work camp for the socially degenerate drags him back, with a promise to free Gena and return him to their mother before her fiftieth birthday. The only problem? Sasha isn't a fraction of the tough guy he tries to be, so if he's going to break back into Thrice-Nine...he'll need help. Sasha's only hope is Maria Kamenaya, a former Technomagic Warrior with hundreds of enemy kills to her name, betrayed by the country that made her when her honor conflicted with their agenda. Thrice-Nine took Sasha's brother, and it took Maria's heart. This quest is how they get both of those things back, in the steaming, lawless land of decapitated states...the land of DEAD KINGS.
Like True Grit set in the world of Final Fantasy, DEAD KINGS is unrelenting with its passion and thrills, massive in scale and unflinching as it peers into the underside of the obligations that drive us all: to family and country. It's a classic Wild West revenge cast against a haunting, awe-inspiring vision of a future where we've mortally wounded the world, and the prisoners are the only ones left to run the penitentiary.

In his first-ever comic series, Dirk has been forced to leave his beloved England behind, coming to the too-sunny, too-cheery, and altogether too-bizaarre-even-for-Dirk city of San Diego, California, where he gets embroiled in three separate (or are they?) cases involving reincarnated Egyptians, golden cell phones, and copycat killers. All this in a new town seemingly incapable of making even a single proper cup of tea. Softcover, 120 pages, full color. Cover price $19.99.

1st printing. Collects stories from John Carpenter's Tales for a HalloweeNight TPB (2015-2024 Storm King) Vol. 4-10. Written by Frank Tieri. Art and cover by Cat Staggs. Introduction by John Carpenter. Comic legends Frank Tieri and Cat Staggs have teamed up to offer tales of monsters, both human and supernatural, creeping in the streets of Brooklyn. As it turns out, these big city beasties, whether ghosts, vampires, wendigoes or simply human beings bent on revenge, have been responsible for events as widespread as the '77 NY blackout, the Coney Island fire of 1911, and even the Revolutionary War's Battle of Brooklyn. The "truth" behind all these events is not what you've been told. Thankfully, Tieri is here to set things straight. This collection includes all six of the duo's stories from JOHN CARPENTER'S TALES FOR A HALLOWEE NIGHT volumes 4 through 10, plus a seventh story, woven between the others, to tie these events and characters together. Cat Staggs illustrated the entire collection. You'll never look at New York the same way again. Softcover, 136 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $22.99.

Published Nov 2021 by Fantagraphics.$6.00
1st printing. Collects King GN (1993-2003 Fantagraphics) Vol. 1-3.
Story and art by Ho Che Anderson. Introduction by Stanley Crouch.
Ho Che Anderson's biography traces King's life from his childhood in Atlanta and his education at Booker T. Washington High School, and his subsequent centrality to the civil rights movement when, in 1955, he organized the successful Montgomery Bus Boycott; his founding of the Southern Christian leadership Conference in 1957; his Nobel Prize in 1964; his help in organizing the 1966 March on Washington and his "I Have a Dream" speech; and the tragic moment on April 4, 1968 when he was shot dead on the balcony of the Loraine Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.
Anderson's expressionistic visual style is wrought with dramatic energy; panels evoke a painterly attention to detail but whose juxtapositions propel King's story with cinematic momentum. Anderson's successful use of the comics form to tell a major work of nonfiction has drawn favorable comparisons to Art Spiegelman's Maus: A survivor's Tale and Joe Sacco's Safe Area Gorazde: The War In Eastern Bosnia 1992-1995.
King won a1995 Parents' Choice Award.
