Volume 3 - 1st printing. Story and art by Coffee. Translated by Kevin Steinbach. Kaboku has always just gone with the flow, marching in step to the drumbeat of the expectations of those around him: parents, school, plans for the future. It feels predictable, safe, and... empty. But one night, Kaboku's at school late, and he happens on a girl alone, moving wildly, turning a blank space of concrete into a canvas. This is Hikari Wanda, a member of the hip-hop dance club. Kaboku is immediately smitten, but the road to stepping out of his shell is a long one. The club is almost entirely girls, and they're all, well, way better than him. What's ahead is unknown, and that's terrifying, but it also means, for the first time in Kaboku's life, a taste of freedom. Softcover, 5-in. x 7-in., 192 pages, B&W. Cover price $12.99.

Volume 3 - 1st printing. "Revolt of the Ugly!" Written by Guido Buzzelli, Grazia de Stefani, and Giorgo Dell'Arti. Art and cover by Guido Buzzelli. Translated by Jamie Richards. Introduction by Valerio Stive. Hailed in Europe, Guido Buzzelli has been called the Michaelangelo of monsters, the Goya of comics, and the patron saint of all Italian cartoonists. A pioneer active from the 1950s-1980s, today virtually unknown in English, Buzzelli horrifies, fascinates, and provokes with his unique blend of surrealism and dynamism. Displaying a range of influences from Westerns and science fiction to Rennaisance art and futurism, Buzzelli's stories are a delightful, quasi-postmodern mishmash of high and low, showing an intricate hand and stylish narrative skill. This final volume includes Guido Buzzelli's full-color science fiction epic Zasafir, A Star For Ganymede, Resurrection, and the previously unpublished Incomplete Zasafir. The volume concludes with his earliest masterpiece, credited for inventing the independent Italian graphic novel, Revolt of the Ugly. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 160 pages, PC/PB&W. View scansReprints the origin and first appearance of the Justice Society of America. All-Star Comics #3 (originally published in 1940) is one in a series of reprints published in 1975 by comic and toy collector Don Maris. While similar in format to the Flashback reprints published by DynaPubs (Alan Light), the Maris editions reprint different Gold Age issues and represent better reproduction quality. Note: Hit Comics #1, Plastic Man #2, and Silver Streak #6 are the only issues reprinted by both publishers. The Maris and Flashback issues have become very collectible in their own right. They also represent a very inexpensive way for comic readers to read and enjoy comics that typically sell for thousands of dollars. Each Maris edition is an exact copy of the original comic (including all original ad pages) except that the interior pages are in black-and-white rather than the original color. Cover price $3.00.
