FSS depicts the evolution of the God of Light, Amaterasu, in a universe marked by uneven technological and social advances. It is equal parts epic space opera, military drama and character study, highlighted by Nagano's elegant and detailed artwork. Maintains its original "right to left" storytelling format. Episode 9 brings together Christine V. and her Ladyship Mamadoa Juzotta, who are ordered to dual for the title of "highlander." Christine's refusal wins her the title.
