Volume 2 - 1st printing. Story and art by Emil Ferris. Set against the tumultuous political backdrop of late '60s Chicago, My Favorite Thing Is Monsters Book Two is the eagerly awaited conclusion to one of the most acclaimed graphic novels of the past decade. Presented as the fictional graphic diary of 10-year-old Karen Reyes as she tries to solve the murder of her upstairs neighbor, Anka Silverberg, a holocaust survivor, while the interconnected stories of those around her unfold. In Book Two, dark mysteries past and present continue to abound in the tumultuous and violent Chicago summer of 1968. Young Karen attends the Yippie-organized Festival of Life in Grant Park and finds herself swept up in a police stomping. Privately, she continues to investigate Anka's recent death and discovers one last cassette tape that sheds light upon Anka's heroic activities in Nazi Germany. She wrestles with her own sexual identity, the death of her mother, and the secrets she suspects her brother Deez of hiding. Ferris's exhilarating cast of characters experience revelations and epiphanies that both resolve and deepen the mysteries visited upon them earlier. Visually, the story is told in Ferris's inimitable style that breathtakingly and seamlessly combines panel-to-panel storytelling and cartoon montages filled with B-movie horror and pulp monster mag iconography. Softcover, 9-in. x 11-in., 412 pages, PC/PB&W. Mature Readers Cover price $44.99.

Written by Fanny Rodriguez. Art and cover by Fanny Rodriguez and Alejandra "Ale" Green.
Welcome back to Nothing!
After the battle with Stryx, Nathan is lost and alone (again). But this time he has friends to find and a quest to continue! At least no one is chasing him... well, except for that ancient evil spirit trying to destroy Nothing. Oh, and the war started (great!). Once reunited, Nathan, Haven, Sina, and Bardou must continue their journey to the Edge. Nathan has visions of Lerina that intensify as they travel, and the group discovers that the clues to save Nothing may reside in the lost legends of the past. Unexpected allies appear but new enemies lurk everywhere, and the most powerful foe is attacking Haven's spirit from within, creating a race against time to save them.
If Nathan and his band of friends weren't already feeling the pressure, they must prevent two realms from tearing Nothing apart, defeat Stryx, and not die in the process (no biggie). Otherwise, volken, faes, and all magic could vanish from Nothing... forever.

Based on the story by Marcel Proust. Adapted by Stephane Heuet.

Proust, now a teenager, describes his first separation from his mother, a vacation taken in a high class beach resort in Normandy. Besides the fleeting visions of young girls, he also keenly observes, without acidity but detached amusement, the petty sophistry of the French upper class in its genteel environs, safely removed from the lower ones. An important social question is to know whether the pane of glass will always protect the feast of the marvelous beasts and if the obscure people peering at them through the night will not come and pick them out of their aquarium and eat them.

Volume 2 - 1st printing. "Lost Legends of Nothing!"
Otherwise, volken, faes, and all magic could vanish from Nothing... forever.
Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 320 pages, full color.
