In a story by Kelly, the gang makes a bid for stardom with Professor Gravy's circus, if they can prove that Julep the goat can talk. This story features a few self-portrait cameos by Walt Kelly. Barney gets a job as a dog catcher, in an early story by legendary Uncle Scrooge creator Carl Barks. Jerry uses ink against Tom.
