Stories by Nicola Cuti, Brad Everson and Richard Hughes (credited as Shane O'Shea and Lafcadio Lee). Art by Ogden Whitney, Lloyd Cynwald and John Byrne. ACG Comics reprints the classic adventures of Herbie, the American Comics Group super-hero parody, featuring a rotund, lackadaisical, lollipop-sucking nerd boy who is inexplicably all-powerful. In Herbies first appearance, he outwits an alien invasion and saves a shipwrecked U.S. Senator, but his parents wish he would do something with his life. Herbie goes back in time to settle an old family debt and gets involved in the US Revolutionary War. Also, a Rog 2000 story starring the robot cabbie from E-Man comics, featuring early work by John Byrne. Reprints from Herbie #8, 13, and 17, plus Forbidden Worlds 73 (Herbies first appearance) and a backup story from Adventures into the Unknown. Herbies Quiet Saturday Afternoon; Popnecker the Pilgrim; Mussel-Man; Withering Heights; George Washingtons Teeth; The Hard Day of Murgatroyd Minch; The Space Broomstick. 48 pages, B&W.
