Larry offers Ralph a job but Ralph turns him down because of Larry's unsavory reputation. Carol breaks up with Ralph and dates Larry, but then falls for Larry's new lawyer Mal. After a chance meeting with Ralph, Carol decides to break up with Mal. A jealous Larry threatens to kill Mal but Ralph steps in and rescues Carol. They reconcile. Plus: "One More Chance" with art by Marty Elkin - Jill runs a lonely hearts agency but is unable to commit to romance with salesman Steve. Jill is swept off her feet by Wayne, a rich oilman from Texas. Steve discovers Wayne is actually Louis Menzer, a con man who wants to steal her client list and blackmail the lonely people. Jill finally gives her heart to Steve. Also: "Ecstasy" with art by Ken Landau - Jane goes on vacation to New England with Alice, the sister of her fiance Arthur. She and electric company lineman Jim fall in love. Arthur arrives and Jane summons the courage to break up with him and be with Jim. And: "Circus Freak" with art by Alvin C. Hollingsworth - Adrina's father trains her to be a great trapeze artist like her late mother. Adrina accepts a dinner invitation from Walter, although the man had mocked the circus performers, which upsets her fellow aerialist Armand. Adrina falls for Walter but discovers he's just using her and calls her a "circus freak" behind her back. A distraught Adrina nearly dies during her act but Armand saves her and they will be married. Plus: untitled Mildred Norton's Love Corner 1-pager with art by Ken Landau - Frances is left a widow with an infant son after her husband is killed in Korea. She falls in love with Lawrence but is afraid to tell him of her first husband and her son. Mildred asks readers to send in letters of advice for Frances.
