Watching his daughter and Betty engages in a vigorous badminton game gets Mr. Lodge pining for his youth. Betty and Veronica are surprised by Reggie's sudden virtuosity on the violin. Editor Gorelick encourages readers to pressure their local newspaper to carry the Archie syndicated comic strip; two samples of the strip illustrate the article.
