Stories and art by Boody Rogers, Ham Fisher, Kermit Jadiker and Charles Zerner (credited as Paine), Elmer Wexler, Frank Beck, Frank Tinsley, Mart Bailey, Alfred Andriola, J. P. McEvoy, John Striebel, and Ogden Whitney. Title officially changes to Big Shot with this issue. Big Shot featured reprints of McNaught Syndicate humor and adventure strips, alongside original characters like Skyman and The Face. In an effort to win back Hedy, Sparky lets Doc Static bombard him with a new experimental ray that gives him a more magnetic personality. Dixie and the Dugans are taken hostage by a fugitive couple, who turn out to be a pair of kids who want to elope and are hiding from their parents.
