Big Shot featured reprints of McNaught Syndicate humor and adventure strips, alongside original characters like Skyman and The Face. Mistaken for a wealthy woman carrying a fortune in diamonds, Dixie Dugan is abducted onto a luxury yacht. Dotty recovers from her accident, but Sparky Watts faces more hurdles before they can be wed. Tony Trent aids his old war buddies against their new foe in Paris. The end of Big Shot Comics concluded these ongoing series, some in mid-storyline; Bo, Dixie Dugan and Tony Trent/ The Face later appeared in their own comics, from Charlton, Prize and Ace Comics respectively.
