    Stories and art by Boody Rogers, Ogden Whitney, Lank Leonard, Renny McEvoy, Jim Fabian, Don Dean, J. P. McEvoy, John Striebel, Marion Bailey, Frank Beck and Mart Bailey. Big Shot featured reprints of McNaught Syndicate humor and adventure strips, alongside original characters like Skyman and The Face. A dress dummy seems like a good parrot cage to Cranberry Boggs, but the resulting talking mannequin throws Cap'n Gramps for a loop. While in Arizona, Slap Happy buys the biggest cowboy boots ever, but his "talking" mule isn't impressed, in another wacky Boody Rogers story.
