Stories and art by Chase Craig and Carl Buettner. This issue of Dell's Large Feature Comic is considered the first "solo" Bugs Bunny comic book. Bugs, Elmer Fudd, Porky and Petunia look a little different in their 1940s-era designs, but their personalities (and speech patterns) are fully developed. Detectives Bugs and Porky investigate accidents at a lumber camp owned by Petunia's uncle. Bugs inherits a goose that lays golden eggs from his own uncle, but trouble soon follows. Also featuring a comics "biography" of Bugs that focuses on his already-successful screen career.
