    Stories and art by Robert Leslie Bellem, Adolphe Barreaux, Gene Leslie and Douglas March. Despite the title, not true "crime" comics, but mystery comics featuring detective heroes. This issue was used for illustration #20 in the anti-comics classic Seduction of the Innocent, and mentioned in the text of the book as well. Sally the Sleuth offers to act as a decoy to catch the killer preying on young women - this is the story that won Crime Smashers a spot in Seduction of the Innocent. Reporter Ray Hale investigates a "dope smuggler" who uses remote-control airplanes - but is beautiful Jane trying to help Ray, or kill him? Dan Turner, Hollywood Detective investigates after movie star Lana Lane seemingly murders a TV host during a live broadcast - but something doesn't add up. Hired to deliver a mysterious package, Crime Smasher discovers a dead body and tries to figure out the meaning of the three-legged rabbit statue. Crime Smasher goes after a mob boss and his army of goons, facing a sinister trap by two thugs dressed as women. A Death Row inmate's last request is that Crime Smasher prove that his innocence by catching the real killer.
