Fox Feature Syndicate creates a pre-Code title guaranteed to provide lurid covers and art, as women both historical and fictional commit murder and other heinous acts. Sparks fly when showgirl Georgia Lamont meets safecracker Danny Merrit; Redheaded thrill-seeker Ruth Carter joins Porky Nelson's gang for kicks; Trapeze artist Dell Mundane's elaborate scheme involves insuring her partner, then shattering his nerve with anonymous death threats, so he has a fatal accident during the act. Perhaps the best cover in the series, both in terms of action and dialogue, a mini-masterpiece of lowbrow culture. Georgia the Cracker; The Terror from Tacoma; My Pickup Past; The High Wire Killer. 32 pages, Full Color. In order of appearance: "Georgia the 'Cracker'"; "The Terror From Tacoma, The Sentinel of Death!"; and "The High Wire Killer". "My Pickup Past" text story reprinted from My Secret Life (1949 Fox) #22. Cover price $0.10.
