Cover by Carl Hubbell. Stories and art by Carl Hubbell and others. Military humor with Anchors Andrews, who looks and acts like Archie's older brother joined the Navy. (In fact, in this issue, redheaded Anchors becomes blond, and the title officially drops the "Andrews.") Agnes and Dinah sneak aboard the ship to see their boyfriends Anchors and Sleepy, in a story featuring some good-girl art by Carl Hubbell. Anchors signs up for the ship boxing league and gets matched against Tuggleburt, the ship's tough-guy commander. Anchors decides to leave the Navy after his tour of duty is over, but now he's got to get his re-enlistment papers back. Plus an early ad for the Slinky spring toy.
