    Comic book version of the long-running comic strip created by Hank Ketcham. In this issue, the fourth of July is nearly here and Dennis and Joey celebrate in style by making the biggest firecracker ever in "Happy Birthday U.S. of A." Then in "Yankee Doodle Dennis," Dennis recalls the old days in some one- and two-panel gag strips. In "What's Going On Here?" when some weird things occur, Dennis tries to figure it all out. Story has a No-Prize contest. In "DreamDog and NapCat," we see the dreams of Ruff and Hot Dog. And in "Big Trouble," Dennis gets a new babysitter.
