The most unusual story in this issue is a rare Little Nemo in Slumberland strip drawn by Bob McCay (son of original Nemo artist Winsor McCay) in which Nemo is a Buck Rogers-like teen helping Slumberland battle Mercurian invaders! Revived in modern times, ancient mystic Hale the Magician uses his powers and his magical spearhead to battle evil. Rocketman invents the helicopter a few years early, but gangster Killer Craci wants the invention for himself. Classic cover by Gus Ricca has the cartoonist being killed by his own spy cartoons.
