War comics featuring the US Army in WWII, Korea and other conflicts, part of Charlton's Fightin' military series. Stranded on an Axis-held island, a pilot is aided by two soldiers who have been fighting a guerrilla war in the jungles, in a story by artist and combat veteran Sam Glanzman. A tank crew out of ammo improvises a fire-extinguisher attack, in a one-pager that may be the work of future Marvel legend Don Perlin. In another Glanzman story, Judd is a dud in non-combat situations, but a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. 3 Desperate Men; The Secret Weapon; The Thousandth Death; The Life Saver; Tow Line; Iron Ring!!; The Goof-Off. 32 pages, Full Color.
