Flyin' Jenny was an early female action hero, a test pilot in an adventure comic strip. Working for Swiftwing, Jenny gets into an air race with fellow female barnstormer Donna. But Jenny stops to rescue the handsome injured man who signaled to her from the woods, even though it costs her the race. Softcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 72 pages, B&W. Cover price $7.95.

This issue reprints strips from 1945-46, when Mark Swayze had taken over the art duties.
