Frank tries to explain to Miss Hall why she shouldn't walk in the woods alone, but she doesnt believe in the Fiend in Fur; A couple is abducted to the moon by Selena, Queen of the Moonlings. After Alice and Ken fail to get a job with Forbidden Worlds, they encounter a strange old couple who turn out to be energy vampires. This last story was written by two members of the L. F. O. F. W. (Loyal Fans of Forbidden World) Club, as the intro explains. Cover monster looks an awful lot like Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf Man.     Volume 4 - 1st printing. "July 1953-January 1954!" Collects Forbidden Worlds (1952-1967) #19-25. They may have been Forbidden to some, but to kids the length and breadth of the United States (and a select few in the UK), Richard Hughes and his tremblin' team of terrific tormenters were where it was at. Big time. Tempus certainly does fugit. Doesn't seem like five minutes since we were putting the finishing touches to the inaugural volume of our Forbidden Worlds hardcover reissue series and already we're on the third book.
