Tillie the Toiler. Cover by Russ Westover. Stories and art by Russ Westover. Four Color is the collective title for Dell's long, irregularly published series of one-shots. This issue reprints color Sunday pages of the comic strip Tillie the Toiler, about the misadventures of a working girl in the early 20th century. Tillie goes all out for a theater date with Doug, and then he has the nerve to bring along his new wife. Mac gets into a fight with a bully at the beach, in a story that unconsciously echoes a famous comic-book body-building ad. Mac launches a search after Tillie and Jerry disappear on the beach, but they didn't want to be found. 64 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
